‘Inherent Vice’ was the first Pynchon that I finished, and I absolutely adored it. I’m now reading ‘Against The Day’ which is far more ‘Gravity’s Rainbowesque’ and I digging it a whole lot.
The crocodile on the poster is an impostor. She’s clearly powered by a jet engine, which is definitely NOT the same thing as a rocket.
Btw: I see that there are rocket boosters attached, but it’s just not the same.
Also, I think Rocket Crocodile is male? I assumed, based on the song/original tangent that the zebra was the female, but maybe I’m misreading that.
Great job on the poster! Makes me wish RCATWOT was an actual movie.
Happy Holidays to the Original Peaches and all my fellow Floppers.
