They had basically a good idea for a story, but literally no clue as to how to implement any of it. It just seems like a bunch of random tromping around, in the place of any kind of storytelling.

Hello Guys! Great podcast. First time listening and enjoyed it. Nightcrawler surprised me this year. Usually not a big fan of Jake. My friends and I published our year end movie podcast on the Most Over and Under Rated Movies. I wanted to say all time, but my co-pods were not ready to make such claims. http://www.fauxpods.com.
This is the first episode I’ve listened and being welcomed with “Merry Cagemas” was a great introduction. I’m hooked.
(Also, I may listen to all your Nic Cage episodes before going through the archives in order).
Yeah their back-catalog really holds up – definitely worth a listen
Just for the record, here’s the hilarious scene where Peter Stormare has tiny little legs: https://youtu.be/cnGvlxnBP94?t=1734
I had to go back and see – 29:20 into the movie is Peter Stormare with the tiny legs. I never noticed it, but now that you point it out it’s hilarious!
