“With God as my witness, I thought paratroopers could fly.” – Arthur Carlsen, North Korean invasion force co-ordinator.
One thing about General Cho: He sure makes good chicken.
When is “The Scarlet Letter” podcast coming for Roger Ebert (the man who along with Gene Siskel kind of mainstreamed being a pop culture nerd).
I just listened to the Valentine’s Day episode just before this one, and I hope that every time you cover a movie he appears in you only ever refer to McSteamy by his nickname.
“Slightly” inebriated indeed…Dan sounded rather more irrepressible than normal.

I haven’t seen this movie but I live in Washington. I wanted to add that Spokane is a landlocked city almost 300 miles away in Eastern WA. There is no way they could invade Spokane without first taking over the cities on the coast, i.e. Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia which would enormously increase the time and resources required. Also there’s a mountain range in between.
Maybe it’s implied in the movie that they took over the whole state but it sounds like the townspeople are surprised by the attack so I don’t think so.
Anyways, more stupid things about a stupid movie. Woot.
