That movie needed 5 or 8 more scenes where a vehicle barely (and completely unbelievably) outraced the destruction all around it. Then it could have been 4 hours too long, instead of 2.
Once Ebert gave 2012 four stars I stopped reading his reviews. I mean I get that he gave it four stars for being the end all be all of disaster movies but seriously how could you even like that goddamn movie?
Just the dirt worst disaster movie I’ve ever watched at 2 am while dealing with a baby who was sick. IT WOULD NOT END! Great, giant boats, I’m so glad these characters I hate will float away to safety.
