I feel Invisible Maniac’d.
Stu, it was definitely Head of the Family & Motel Hell but I’m pretty sure the third one that night was Leprechaun in Space for the record.
It was the night of August 30 1997.
Ah, a reminder of how much I love The Flop House. Can’t wait for your inevitable episode on Pixels! Should be just a few days until it comes out on home video (so to speak).
Thank you, the Flophouse! I, of course, have heard the observation before that Jabba the Hutt’s language apparently does not have a word for “Jedi”, “mind”, or “trick”. But only upon the hearing Elliott do that bit did I realise that clearly saying “Jedi mind trick” in Huttese is the as when we, in English, say “faux pas” or “coup d’état” or countless other such expressions (or when the Japanese say all kinds of miscellaneous stuff with English words, etc.) It’s not that we don’t have a word for “false” or “step” or “stroke” or “of” or “state”. But in English those function as self-contained expressions that function as a unit, which I assume is how Jabba feels about “Jedi mind trick”.
